Coronavirus and your YOAS yoga retreat bookingMay 1, 2020 11:18 am
We hope you are keeping well and safe during these challenging times.
As a small, independent business we are closely following the advice of the UK Government in relation to Coronavirus. Current advice is to avoid all non-essential travel.
So far all of our retreats have been cancelled up to mid June and we will closely monitor the situation beyond this time.
If a YOAS retreat falls at a time when a country has closed its borders and has isolation measures in place then it will not go ahead. If a retreat is cancelled we are asking you to re-book for the same retreat next year or for any other retreat without time constraint. Alternatively we ask that you seek a refund through your travel insurer or card provider if at all possible.
As a small, independent company this is a very challenging time – as we know it is for many. Deposits have been paid by YOAS to venues for the coming months and these are being taken forward rather than refunded. We are asking you to do the same if at all possible.
We do understand that many people are facing financial difficulties at this time so if a refund is absolutely the only option then we can arrange this once trading has resumed.
There is much uncertainty as to how the situation will unfold so we plan to take each day as it comes and stay in close communication with all those who have a retreat booked with us. We will try to inform you if the retreat is going ahead at least a month beforehand.
Our retreats will only go ahead if it is safe to do so. If you are booked onto a retreat in the coming months but do not feel you can join it (even if the UK Government advice changes) then it is possible to take your deposit forward to a future retreat.
Your patience and support of the YOAS community is deeply appreciated at this time. It is a time of great uncertainty for all and we will do all we can to keep our retreats a safe space for your health and well-being.
Stay well and keep up your yoga practice.
