Coronavirus and your YOAS yoga retreat booking

We hope you are keeping well and safe during these challenging times.

We are closely following the advice of the UK Government in relation to Coronavirus. Our retreats will only go ahead if the UK Government guidelines allow for retreats in the UK and safe travel overseas. Based on the latest guidelines we are hoping to run in person retreats from 17 May 2021.

In the last year we have been able to run a handful of retreats as we move in and out of different restrictions. Whenever we are able to run retreats, numbers are limited and special hygiene measures are put in place to ensure a safe and covid secure environment for all.

If a YOAS retreat falls at a time when a country has closed its borders, has isolation measures in place and the UK Government advises against travel to this country then it will not go ahead.

For the UK, retreats will run if restrictions permit and the venue can offer sufficient space and hygiene measures to adhere to the current guidelines.

If a retreat is cancelled we are asking you to re-book for any other retreat without time constraint. Alternatively we ask that you seek a refund through your travel insurer if at all possible.

As a small, independent company this is a very challenging time – as we know it is for many. Deposits have been paid by YOAS to venues for the coming months and these are being taken forward rather than refunded. We are asking you to do the same if at all possible.

We do understand that many people are facing financial difficulties at this time so if a refund is absolutely the only option then we can arrange this.

There is much uncertainty as to how the situation will unfold so we plan to take each day as it comes and stay in close communication with all those who have a retreat booked with us. We will try to inform you if the retreat is going ahead at least a month beforehand.

Our retreats will only go ahead if it is safe to do so. If you are booked onto a retreat in the coming months but do not feel you can join it then it is possible to take your deposit forward to a future retreat if at least 6 weeks notice is given.

Your patience and support of the YOAS community is deeply appreciated at this time. It is a time of great uncertainty for all and we will do all we can to keep our retreats a safe space for your health and well-being.

Stay well and keep up your yoga practice.
