West Lexham Manor in Norfolk is the ideal location for a summer weekend retreat. An eco country estate offering luxury accommodation and a stunning converted barn space for yoga. Set in peaceful countryside perfect for long walks and a short drive away from the sweeping sandy beaches of Holkham and Brancaster for those wanting some sea air.

About West Lexham

West Lexham is a thriving country manor estate that has been transformed by the Colville family to bring it back into local community life. It is a unique blend of elegant, eco country manor estate with a wonderfully bohemian vibe, set in beautiful gardens and land with a naturally filtered pool, a swimming lake and only 30 minutes drive from the sea.

The estate offers an idyllic natural environment with accommodation in luxury modern en-suite rooms and cosy cabins set on the side of a lake. The heritage barn has been stunningly converted and provides an airy, bright space perfect for yoga and gathering.

Retreat programme

The retreat will begin on Friday evening with a welcome class followed by a delicious dinner. Charlie will then lead you through two classes on the Saturday in the beautiful barn shala. She will offer an uplifting, dynamic morning class to align body and breath, followed by breakfast.

During the day there will be plenty of time for walks, massage treatments, a life coaching session with Charlie, a trip out to the beach or curling up with a good book. There will be a delicious healthy lunch and the group will meet again in the late afternoon for a more restorative practice to delve deeper into the postures. In the evening the group will gather again for dinner in the barn and chats around the fire pit.

Arrival time on Friday 8 July 2022 will be from 4pm. Departure on Sunday 10 July will be at midday after a lake dip for those who fancy it, energising morning yoga and a nourishing brunch.

Accommodation

West Lexham offers unique, beautiful and very comfortable accommodation with a mix of single, twin and double rooms and cosy wooden cabins set on the side of the lake.

The luxurious bedrooms are all en-suite and set around a courtyard adjacent to the yoga barn. All have underfloor heating and huge windows which flood the rooms with natural light. They combine rustic charm with funky modern twists.

The charming wooden cabins are a short walk from the barn. They have a double bed, en suite bathroom and views of the lake.
