Relaxing yoga & brunch workshop to nourish body and soul
As we take yet another pause from running in person retreats it feels more important than ever to connect through the YOAS community. To keep strong and resilient together through these challenging times until we are able to come together and retreat in person once more.
Following the success of our virtual day retreats we have lined up a virtual yoga and brunch workshop. A relaxed Sunday morning offering that begins with a nourishing slow flow yoga class with Dory Walker followed by a fun and inspiring brunch cookery class with retreat chef, Ceri Jones.
The morning workshop will run as outlined below (on UK time):
8.30 – 9.45am - A nourishing and energising slow flow with Dory Walker
Our relaxed and nourishing Sunday morning will begin with yoga at 8.45am. Roll out your mat and join Dory Walker for a slow flow to explore the back body and our roots. Exploring the back body allows us to move more freely and embody the whole body, connecting to our roots brings greater connection to the earth and balance to body mind and breath. Nourish yourself as you open your wings and energise as you strengthen your roots.
10 - 11am - A delicious and healthy brunch cookalong with Ceri Jones
Retreat chef and experienced cookery teacher Ceri Jones will offer a hands on brunch cookery class to prepare a ‘nigella seed gram flour pancake with turmeric scrambled eggs or scrambled tofu, seasonal greens and coriander coconut yogurt’. A menu that celebrates seasonal produce and will brighten up any grey winter morning! Ceri will take you through her menu step-by-step, offering tips from knife skills to plating-up with style. You will be left with the most delicious brunch and full confidence to recreate the recipe in your own time.
How it works
Book your workshop place though our website. The yoga and cookery classes will be live streamed through Zoom. If you don't already have it, download the Zoom app on your computer here: zoom.us/download or your phone (in the App Store or Google Play).
Once you have made a booking we will send further details about equipment needed and an ingredients list. Links to access both classes will be sent the night before.
