About the Sadhana weekender

Led by Dory, our Sadhana Yoga weekender in September 2020 returns with the primary focus being on you. Immerse yourself in yogic practices, nurture yourself and dive deep into the practice. Enjoy the surrounding Devon countryside, eat delicious wholesome food, take a sauna and find the space to breathe.

There will be a full daily programme of yoga practice as outlined below. Dory will host the weekend and hold the space. Please note this weekend is not suitable for complete beginners - at least one year of practice is recommended.

Just two miles from Totnes, Eden Rise provides a beautiful environment for this Sadhana weekend. Neighbouring land includes wooded fringes, the Harbourne river, sculptures and shrines and the Santa Rosa labyrinth

Client Reviews

I had such a wonderful weekend with you all at Eden Rise. I loved the yoga schedule with so much variety and continuity at the same time. Saturday was such a treat filling the day with so much inspirational yoga from you as well as deeply relaxing breath and meditation practice too. Sundays early morning walk was a perfect beginning to the day.

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. It was exactly what the doctor ordered! I live a fairly hectic life so to take a whole weekend for myself to relax, unwind and get a new sense of perspective was much needed and it felt so good. The best part is that I have carried that sense of peace, awareness and control that we blossomed over the weekend back home to the 'real world'.

Dory is an excellent teacher. Her style was inclusive even for us older yogis. She was inspiring, calm, patient and thorough. Her attention to detail has broadened and depended my yoga practice.

I am still feeling the positive effects from my break. The location was beautiful, the food fantastic, the people lovely and Dory, by far, is the best teacher I have had in 18 years...
Thank you so much for a wonderful yoga weekend! Dory's yoga teaching was everything I could have hoped for - beautifully balanced practices with new awareness for me to take home, all taught with kindness and fun! I really respected your knowledge and practice as well as your good-vibe teaching.

Just to send heartfelt gratitude once again for the wonderful retreat at the weekend. Dory, you are so inspiring and words just cannot do justice to the impact the whole weekend, with you at its helm, has had on me. I feel like I’m back on track now and have been reminded of, and grounded in, who I am and the direction I want my life to take.
