About Cabo Serai
Set on a secluded hill, a stone’s throw away from the azure waters of Cabo De Rama beach, lies Cabo Serai. In the heart of Southern Goa, overlooking the Arabian Sea, this eco-conscious retreat is immersed in nature with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding areas.
Fresh water flows from a stream into the sweeping sandy cove of Cabo de Rama beach bordered by a native coconut plantation offering a shaded tranquil grove perfect for relaxation.
This retreat offers an opportunity to dive deeply into your yoga practice in stunning nature and restore your elemental balance.
Join Lara for a Scaravelli inspired yoga retreat at this very special place with a yoga shala on the hilltop with breathtaking views of the sea and another located in the shaded coconut grove by the white sands of Cabo de Rama beach.
Each day will begin with a morning class of meditation and asana to gently open the body and attune the mind to the breath. The afternoon class will be a more gentle and restorative practise. Between classes there will be time to relax on the beach, swim in the sea or take a massage.
One morning there will be a silent walk and forest bathing at sunrise and one evening a sunset tea on the hilltop, included as part of the retreat. There will be one yoga-free day when you will have more time to head out and explore.
Accommodation & food
Built on the grounds of sustainability and embracing the philosophy of barefoot luxury, the charming cottages and tents at Cabo Serai allow guests to explore the outdoors, whilst generously offering all the modern comforts of luxurious accommodation. All are ocean facing whilst being nestled in the privacy of the surrounding forest.
Each cottage and tent comes with an expansive decked balcony perched prominently over lush greenery and looking out over the sea. Perfect for lounging, catching the first rays of sunlight in the morning or the spectacular Goan sunsets at the end of the day.
Spacious, airy, luxurious and comfortable, all with en-suite bathrooms, air con and fans, the cottages and tents have been designed to enhance the tropical sea breeze and the tranquil sound of the waves.
Delicious and healthy Goan-inspired vegetarian brunch will be offered each day and dinner on five evenings. The carefully crafted meals use locally sourced ingredients and selected fruit, vegetables and herbs sourced from the organic garden.
I had such a wonderful week - Lara was an incredible teacher. I loved my introduction to Scaravelli yoga and her enthusiastic, energetic approach. The classes were long but restorative and holding poses for longer enabled us to release from deep in the fascia...I felt an opening in my hips and shoulders and an awakening of my spine, which was wonderful - even my feet are much more spread and dynamic! The focus on pranayama and meditation was also excellent, as they often get forgotten for the asana and are such a crucial part of the practice.Connie
This was truly the best yoga retreat I have EVER been on. Lara's yoga is so inspiring, nurturing and restorative it created a unique spirit amongst the group and we were all challenged and supported to develop in a way we never had before (both on and off the mat). All in all simply couldn't have been a more amazing week.Tanya
Feeling totally reinvigorated after a fab week - my fifth retreat with YOAS. Lara is the best teacher ever!Lotte
