42 Acres offers a luxurious setting near Frome in Somerset, perfect for a magical weekend of yoga. The retreat will offer a wonderful opportunity to revitalise in nature and enjoy reconnecting with yourself and others.
Set in 42 acres of private land, this stunning retreat space with stylish accommodation and an amazing yoga yurt is encircled by ancient woodland.
Sustainability and comfort are at the forefront of the 42 Acres vision with reclaimed materials used for the interiors of the property, organic produce from the land used to create the most nourishing meals and all power self generated through biomass and solar.
Retreat programme
The retreat will begin on Friday evening with a welcome class followed by a delicious dinner. Jess will then lead you through two classes on the Saturday in the sacred yurt yoga space. She will offer a long morning class to align to body and breath followed by breakfast
There will be a delicious healthy lunch and the group will meet again for a late afternoon practice to delve deeper into the postures. Jess will also weave daily healing sound baths into the schedule with her magical crystal bowls! You're in for a treat.
During the day there will be plenty of time for a dip in the lake or a country walk. Massage treatments will be on offer and or you can simply curl up in a cosy spot in front of the fire.
Arrival time on Friday 18 November 2022 will be from 4pm. Departure on Sunday will be at midday after morning yoga, and brunch.
Accommodation
Accommodation options range from a luxury dorm to a beautiful master bedroom suite as well as twin, double and single occupancy rooms.
The main house offers most room types including the master bedroom en-suite. Just a few steps away from the main house, Deer Cottages offer three spacious en-suite rooms offering twin, double and single occupancy options.
Swallows Nest is a modern barn conversion with six smaller deluxe rooms with plentiful shared bathroom facilities. All rooms have high quality linen and towels.
The venue has several communal spaces for relaxing including a welcoming kitchen with cosy chairs by the fire, a library and a reading space. Delicious local, organic food will be served throughout the retreat. All meals are vegetarian.
