These are our general Terms & Conditions for YOAS holidays

Our Cancellation Policy
The deposit (usually £75 or £100 depending on the cost of the holiday) is non-refundable. If you cancel 14 -21 days before arrival - we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 14 days before arrival - we will charge 100% of total cost.
In the unlikely event that YOAS has to cancel your holiday we will refund your payment with the exception of travel visas, flights, insurance and any other travelling costs. Notification of cancellation can be given upto 21 days before the start of the holiday.
If for any reason at all, a course leader/teacher becomes unavailable we shall do our utmost to replace them with a leader of similar qualities and standards. Wherever possible you will be advised in advance of any alterations. Similarly, the alteration of some amenities or courses might take place due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness or other situations outside our control.
Sharing
YOAS cannot be responsible for finding you someone to share with. If you are wanting to share and we cannot provide anyone, you will have to pay a single supplement charge.
Flight confirmation and Insurance
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight times with your airline before your outward and return journey.
It is your responsiblity to ensure that you are in possession of private Travel Insurance with protection for the full duration of the holiday in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover.
In order to provide clients with total peace of mind during their holiday all passesngers bookings/ monies are fully protected from cancellation or curtailmaent of your travel arrangements, due to insolvency.Please see Failure of Tour Provider certificate at the top of this page for further details.
Liability
We do NOT accept any liability for:
• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.
• Participants' medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday.
• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
If you have any complaints about the venue during the holiday please make it to the venue during your holiday. Otherwise telephone or email Yoga on a Shoestring during the period of your holiday. Failure to complain on the spot will result in the client's ability to claim compensation from the Company being extinguished or at least reduced. . We will always do our best to help resolve any justifiable complaints, however it is the client's responsibility to take up the complaint with the venue as YOAS acts purely and solely as a booking agent between, and on behalf of, both parties.
Payment options
Please take some time to read the following details. We require a £75 deposit for each holiday. Full payment is required 4 weeks before departure. For bookings made within four weeks of departure immediate payment in full is required. There are three ways to pay:
1. Bank transfer - contact us and we will email you details of how to pay into our bank account.
2. By cheque made payable to 'Yoga on a Shoestring' - Post to: YOAS, 46 Brockley Rise, London, SE23 1LJ.
3. PayPal - Pay by credit or debit card. All major cards are accepted. You will need to set up your own PayPal account to do this which is easy to do.
Please note: ALL PAYPAL PAYMENTS WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL COST OF £20 for holidays under £400 and £25 for holidays over £400. Please add this onto the cost of your holiday.
The full amount of the holiday must be paid when using Paypal. Please do not use paypal for deposits. The additional charge through PayPal simply covers their charge to us.
