A real Shoestring holiday by the sea in sunny Goa.

One minute from the sea...on the unspoilt Goan coastline - Dunes offers a haven for relaxation, rejuvenation and a welcome return to a slower pace of life.

Tucked away from the busier areas of Goa, this little bit of Goan paradise offers beautiful quiet beaches whilst being only a 20 minute stroll away from the more upbeat vibe of Arambol - famous for its brilliant live music.

The Dunes has an excellent restaurant with a vegetarian salad bar and plenty of fresh fish. In the evenings it offers a variety of entertainment from Indian classical music and dance to a Rajasthan puppet show. There is also laundry and internet facilities available on site.
The daily Programme

Early morning outdoor meditation and pranyama followed by yoga asanas. Evenings will also be spent doing a more relaxing class. There will be one yoga-free day during the 9 day holiday.

A delicious breakfast is provided each day. Dinner will be provided on 5 nights leaving you free to explore the local restaurants and bars on the remaining nights. The food at Dunes is vegetarian and absolutely lovely.
Things to do

Visit the bustling colourful market of Anjuna with hundreds of stalls, selling everything from clothes to statues, jewellery to cd's. And the Saturday night market (one of the largest in Asia) with it's live music, good food and high quality/interesting stalls makes for one of Goa's best nights out.
Enjoy evenings out in Goa's fabulous restaurants, dance under the stars to the sounds of local live music or simply relax on spectacular beaches with fresh coconut milk, watermelons, papaya, pineapples and a good book.
Hire a scooter to visit temples and far away beaches/villages or a boat to explore Goa's backwaters.
Accommodation

Accommodation is in thatched huts which are basic but very comfortable.
We are offering two types of huts: Those with showers and toilets and the more basic with just toilets.

All huts have twin beds.

Price includes accommodation, breakfast, two yoga classes a day (one free day) and dinner on 5 evenings.

Although there are many agents dealing with flights to Goa it is essential that you book a flight now or as soon as possible as charter flights to Goa book up well in advance.

For those of you traveling from Goa airport the easiest way to get to The Dunes is by taxi.
Another option is to fly directly to Mumbai (Bombay) and then take an internal flight to Goa.

Please take some time to read the following details. There are three ways to pay:

1. Bank transfer - contact us and we will email you details of how to pay into our bank account.

2. By cheque made payable to 'Yoga on a Shoestring' - post to: YOAS, 46 Brockley Rise, London, UK, SE23 1LJ.

3. PayPal - Pay by credit or debit card. All major cards are accepted. You will need to set up your own PayPal account to do this which is easy to do.

Please note: ALL PAYPAL PAYMENTS WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL COST OF £20 for holidays under £400 and £25 for holidays over £400. Please add this onto the cost of your holiday.

The full amount of the holiday must be paid when using PayPal. Please do not use PayPal for deposits. The additional charge through PayPal simply covers their charge to us.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit (usually £75 or £100 depending on the cost of the holiday) is non-refundable. If you cancel 7-14 days before arrival - we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival - we will charge 100% of total cost.
