Oceano Cliff is a unique, peaceful venue, set amongst coconut groves, overlooking the sea on the unspoiled South Cliff of Varkala.. This Ayurvedic Beach Retreat offers its own secluded sandy bay, breathtaking sea views, a small pool, library, bookshop and internet access as well as a professional team of ayurvedic doctors and masseurs, an outdoor restaurant, beach bar and organised trips to explore the natural beauty of Kerala.
There are many things do to and places to eat in the lively town of Varkala . Trips to tea plantations, spice gardens, temples and wild life sanctuaries can all be organised for you by the centre. During our stay at Oceano Cliff we will have one yoga free day when we will organise a boat trip along the famous backwaters of Kerala.
The Daily Programme
We will begin our day with early morning meditation and pranayama in the outdoor yoga space overlooking the beach, followed by yoga asanas. The morning session will be a dynamic flowing hatha class and the evening classes will vary from restorative postures, to pranayama, chanting, dancing and meditation.
You can spend the rest of your day having a massage, swimming, sunbathing, reading etc or for those feeling more adventurous, exploring the rich and colourful land and culture of South India.
The cost of the holiday includes: clean and high standard accommodation, all yoga classes, morning brunch, a course of 5 ayurvedic massages and a backwater boat trip.
