| About Ebbio |
Ebbio is a magical place surrounded by 300 acres of forest and nestled in the heart of an ancient volcano that was sacred to the Etruscans. Located in the stunning countryside of Tuscany, it is only 42 km from Florence, 11 km from Siena, 9 km from Castellina in Chianti and 1km from Monteriggioni, a little medieval jewel. Ebbio is an 800 year-old classic Tuscan farmhouse converted into a charming yoga retreat. Ebbio sits high upon the hillside and looking out one of the many windows you will be captivated by the undulating hills swept with thriving vineyards, olive trees, sunflower fields and an enchanting evergreen forest. Ebbio honors its heritage and is still a working, organic Tuscan farm and vineyard, as well as a sanctuary for many animals, including horses, donkeys, geese, peacocks, chickens, dogs and cats - animals are everywhere; it's wonderful. |

The 800 year-old Tuscan farmhouse has been restored to perfection, with carefully chosen furnishings from the period, as well as blending modern-day pieces for comfort. With its high ceilings and many windows, the farmhouse is flooded with natural light, making it bright and airy. The original cobblestone floor keeps the farmhouse naturally cool during the warm summer days and nights. The guest rooms are spacious and shared, some with double occupancy and some with triple occupancy. Single rooms are available for an additional charge. The many bathrooms, which are situated between rooms, are modern and immaculately kept. |
