| The daily programme |
|---|
|
Please note: 2011-2012 Dahab holidays are running from Saturday to Saturday apart from the New Year week which runs from Wednesday to Wednesday. Yoga classes start on the Sunday morning with the final class on the following Saturday morning before you depart. Mornings begin with meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques) for the early risers, followed by a yoga class between 8.30 - 10.30am. There will be an evening yoga class at 5.30pm. There will be one yoga free day per week when the group spends an evening in the desert (optional). Please note that the programme will vary slightly depending on the teacher/s. The Coral Coast is a simple, intimate and beautiful hotel set on the Red Sea. It offers two types of accommodation: standard and superior rooms. Both types of hotel rooms are ensuite and fully air conditioned. The superior rooms have fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities and guaranteed sea views. The hotel serves wonderful fresh food indoors and outdoors on the beach. It has a cushioned chill-out area by the sea, perfect for lazy daytime reading and sunbathing or evening chats over food and drinks. |

Dahab offers an array of exciting things to do from snorkeling, scuba diving and windsurfing in the Red Sea to horse riding, camel riding, jeep driving in the desert and a visit to the local hammam. Fantastic snorkeling and scuba-diving in the Red Sea. Dahab has many dive centres offering introductory dives, 'Padi' certification and extended dives for the more experienced. The tranquil Bedouin village of Ras Abu Gallum is a glorious short walk from the famous dive site at the Blue Hole. |

Each holiday has an overnight trip into the desert (for an additional cost). Delicious food cooked on open fires prepared by the Bedouin, camel riding and sleeping under the stars all combine to make this an amazing and unique experience. Mount Sinai and St. Catherine's monastery are a short drive away from Dahab. We offer this as another optional trip - a night-time walk up Mount Sinai to view the spectacular sunrise. "It truly felt like a privilege to spend time in the desert with The Bedouin" - Becky Daniels. |

| Some comments |

"This is Heaven on a Shoestring. I arrived in Dahab tired and depleted by life's stresses. The teachers have worked their magic giving us all a chance to explore yoga, diving and the magic of the desert. They are inspirational and I just hope they both live to be a hundred so I can keep on coming back for more". "We had never done yoga before and didn’t know what to expect. We can only say it has been a phenomenal week. Sue and Kath (the yoga teachers) have created a wonderful space for beginners and accomplished yogi’s alike. Their loving kindness, thought, consideration and generosity has given me the most enjoyable learning experience. We have been moved so many times this week both emotionally and physically with this wonderful combination of yoga and discovering a very different part of the world. I highly recommend it for those wishing to start practicing yoga and those who already do…great food for the mind, body and soul." "I had a really great holiday. As a ‘yogi beginner’ I felt very cherished and like everyone else on the holiday, really appreciated the attention we received from the teacher. I came to realise that yoga is much more than the ‘Sun Salutation’…a practice which can affect your heart as well as your body. The location was perfect - with the Red Sea a step away from the hotel and an imposing wall of desert mountains behind us – you couldn’t find a better place to practice yoga or just chill out. The desert trip was a truly unique experience and quite awe inspiring." "Egypt has always been on my list.....I had no idea what an enormous adventure I was about to undertake. From our arrival at the 'Coral Coast Hotel', our warm welcome with chilled glasses of hibiscus tea to the sincere and warm, personal goodbyes and heartfelt good wishes for long and happy lives - it was truly an experience. Life does seem to hurtle by in a blur of madness sometimes but when you share a symphony of blessed moments, you do truly feel you are living it." |
